The Nintendo Wii is considered a 7th generation game console. As we all know the Wii console competes with other popular gaming systems such as the Microsoft Xbox and Sonly PlayStation. Unlike the other systems just mentioned, the Wii promotes a much more socially active entertainment experience as it helps to bring friends and family together sometimes for hours on end of gaming entertainment.

The USB port 2.0 became very outdated and as a result data transmission became very slower and the USB port could only allow the device to draw a maximum of 500mA of current power per port. It was then that I decided I had to do something such as find a way to repair my Wii.
I was against the fence on this and was leaning toward sending my Wii out for repair but soon decided I needed to live a little and take the plunge into repairing my own Wii.
